Requirements

To begin flight training and pursue your pilot certificate, students must meet a few key eligibility criteria. You must be at least 16 years old to fly solo and at least 17 years old to obtain a pilot certificate. In accordance with FAA regulations, all students must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English proficiently. Additionally, you must hold a current Third-Class FAA Medical Certificate if you are seeking a private or recreational pilot certification.
